ABSTRACT

Gas distribution stations are designed for the main gas flow throttling. The gas pressure is reduced by the reduction unit, which contains throttle valves. Most of the transmitted by compressors at the compressor station the main gas flow energy lost during this process. However, there is energy extraction and useful application possibility. The simplest way to use the main gas flow power is to generate electricity. However, one of the most perspective direction is to produce liquefied natural gas (LNG). During work on the solution of a main gas flow excess energy usage for LNG production problem, the highly efficient method for LNG producing was developed. The method efficiency is formed due to the optimal use of energy obtained by expanding the main gas flow.
