ABSTRACT

Investigation of flotation kinetics is one of the important tasks in the theory and practice of modern beneficiation. At the moment, there is no universal model that satisfactorily describes the process, due to the presence of many influencing factors.

The experiments of flotation of carbonaceous raw materials were carried out to initialize the model type, the data on the extraction of the ash product were subjected to statistical processing. The coefficient of determination was chosen as a criterion for selecting the optimal function.

According to the results of the studies, the use of an integral method of data processing has increased the accuracy of forecasting. The best results were achieved using specialized packages that perform regression processing. The modified Kelsall model showed the highest accuracy of the considered models. From a practical point of view, the most convenient method is the integral one.
