ABSTRACT
Another field in which the European legislator has manifested her willingness to protect consumers is product liability pursuant to Directive 85/374/EEC. The arresting question now raised is whether the mandated-choice model could also be applied to product liability. My answer is, this time, no. In what follows I explain why.
