ABSTRACT

In this last section, we make recommendations for transgenerational trauma therapy, based on the theoretical considerations presented earlier. Through case studies, step by step we trace the therapy process, presenting the characteristics and challenges of each stage, and the methodological recommendations for each stage. We give special emphasis to the feelings aroused in the therapist and how they change as therapy proceeds; to the development of the patient-therapist relationship, and its enrichment in the light of transference and countertransference processes; and to the changes in the relationship field created by the patient and therapist.
