ABSTRACT
This paper extends Baudrillard’s notion of ‘recycling’ to the resonances and legacy of ‘re-’ and implications for the archives. The questions ‘what is theatre/what is history’ are considered as pluralities. As such, these are further related to themes of ‘the other’, prejudices, making familiar and metaphors. Some conclusions are presented in the form of evocations and images.
