ABSTRACT
This article shows the connection between visual dramaturgy and the disintegration of hierarchy of the means of expression through gravitation, free flow of energies, and fusion into the ambient as a style of performance, creating atmospheric stagings and setting the spectator free by inclusion of spectatorship in performance. This happened upon taking elements of clubbing and open experiences of spectatorship into free and open scenic settings. The performance group Baktruppen and artistic research symposia, like Vision Zukunft (Vision of the Future), contributed to the understanding of pop in performance.
