ABSTRACT
The article is dedicated to the problem of decreased efficiency of mining operations on the deep ore mines, particularly, on the North Ural bauxite basin. The world researches in this area are reviewed. The most suitable type of mining equipment is chosen. The question of applicability of the cyclical-and-continuous method is discussed and the methodology of the determination of hydraulic breaker in given conditions is proposed.
