ABSTRACT
Sir J. TYRELL called attention [in the House of Commons] to a statement in a Chelmsford paper to the effect that about 350 soldiers’ wives and children were living in a state of extreme destitution near the huts at Colchester. He wished to know whether the attention of government had been called to the subject.
