ABSTRACT

A simple and effective aid is the RASCI Matrix, in which responsibilities are established so that everyone knows what he or she must do or what he or she is responsible for. In this way, the right people can be addressed about achieving the agreed results or not. The RASCI Matrix is a model that brings clarity and structure into the responsibilities and authorities of people with different roles in projects. The overview of the RASCI Matrix comprises the activities and the responsibilities of the people involved in the activities. This always involves individuals because they can be addressed about the result. With the aid of the RASCI Matrix, the responsibilities and authorities of people can be mapped out with regard to the activities to be performed. With the application of the RASCI Matrix, special care must be taken with what the division of roles is between the ‘A’ for Accountable and the ‘R’ for Responsible.
