ABSTRACT

The SIT Method offers enterprises the possibility to think up new ideas on the basis of existing products or services, with the aid of seven different schools of thought. These seven schools of thought have proven themselves in the past and are combined in the SIT Method. The SIT Method comprises an approach from seven different schools of thought. With the aid of these schools of thought, it is made much easier to devise new products and/or services. The result of the SIT Method consists in a number of ideas for new products or services that can be brought onto the market. These products or services usually require no heavy or high investments because this method starts from existing products or services. Innovations usually lie in simplicity and creativity. The method supports simplicity but the creativity is in the freedom of thinking through which new concepts are devised. Due to the systematic model, the creativity can be destroyed.
