ABSTRACT

Throughout the entire course of the project as well as after it has been completed, people will need to be kept informed about what is going on. This can be done in writing or in the form of an oral presentation. A presentation is a structured oral report on a clearly defined subject held by one or more people. A computer with presentation software and a projector – a beamer – is one option. In professional presentations, the layout of the transparencies or slides is usually the same, and may include the company logo, a heading at the top of each transparency, page numbers and the name of the speaker. The somewhat outdated overhead projector uses transparencies or slides. The text and the illustrations are printed, drawn or written on them in black or colour. They are projected using a mirror onto a screen behind the speaker, so the speaker can remain facing the audience.
