ABSTRACT

This chapter focuses on several ways that further exercises and tools in the technique can be used to target specific leadership challenges and situations. Activities, repetitions, and preparations can be utilised in a variety of ways and complemented with other exercises, including improvisation. The activity does not necessarily need to be fiddly but it has to be physically engaging. An example might be that while before peeling an apple would have not been a good choice for an activity, primarily for its lack of intricacy, it becomes a strong choice. Partner activities carry high rewards. The only potential downside, aside from some messy nails or a bad make-up job, is that the coach cannot be the partner, so a third person is needed. Structured scenarios are different than independent activities.
