ABSTRACT

The foundations of all power in leadership can be broken up into two domains: interpersonal and institutional. Words and language are a functional necessity in life, especially for a leader. The essence of great leadership begins not with persona or false crafting but rather with an enhancement of one’s authentic qualities. A technique for training leadership then, in theory, should be formed of concepts that can be applied to anyone at any stage in their career process. Since leadership is both a general state and target-specific, the concepts should be equally applicable to already well-established projects and endeavours and those green in their development. The exercises themselves are already full-on and strange. Breathing exercises, for example, are concrete and specific, and there is a measurable before and after component based on physical grounds to test the efficacy of a breathing exercise.
