ABSTRACT
This chapter provides an overview of the materials and methods that relate historical linguistics to digital humanities. Our interest lies less with how the digital approach has transformed traditional historical linguistics and more with how research is conducted in actual practice. In other words, this chapter is more about the implementation than with the implications of digital tools in historical linguistics.
