ABSTRACT

PT. GSM makes various technological innovations including those to improve employees’ work ethic and productivity. This research analyzed the effect of satisfaction of using digital innovation on the PT. GSM’s employees’ work ethic and productivity, the effect of work ethic on productivity, and the effect of satisfaction of using digital innovation on productivity with employees’ work ethic as an intervening variable. This relational descriptive quantitative research used three variables namely satisfaction of using digital innovation (independent), employees’ performance (dependent), and employees’ work ethic (intervening). Data were collected by surveying 500 PT. GSM employees who had worked for at least 1.5 years. Results showed that satisfaction of using digital innovation had a positive and significant effect on the productivity of PT. GSM employees, work ethics affected their productivity, and employees’ work ethic mediated the effect of satisfaction of using digital innovation on productivity.
