ABSTRACT

Technopreneurs have been recognized as one of the important factors driving a country’s economy in this technological era, wherein it is necessary to develop technopreneurs’ expertise in university to gain early advantages. This study using descriptive research to analyze the learning process that has been given to students of the undergraduate program of information system of Telkom University specializes in technopreneurship toward the development of their personal entrepreneurial competencies (PECs). The results of in-depth interviews from this study found that the learning process was quite good enough although isn’t optimal yet. Furthermore, the average PEC level of the students has only reached the moderate level. The competency with the highest score is information seeking, while the lowest is assertiveness. Overall, it can be concluded that there is room for improvement in various aspects involved in the learning process.
