ABSTRACT
Earth’s inhabitants include animals and people have concerns for animal welfare and rights. Animals are often hunted, for both food and pleasure; some are domesticated, some are in zoos, some are used in research experiments seeking human goods, often medical, and also veterinary therapy. What are our moral responsibilities toward these beasts in flesh and blood with which we co-inhabit this Earth?
