ABSTRACT
In the following chapter, I experimentally write through poetry, “FemMe-mories,” or memories about my queer femme identity, juxtaposed with a performance I did about my femme gender identity in the academy. I recall how I have negotiated my femme gender identity throughout my life, both in present and past, and suggest that the future is queer femme.
