ABSTRACT

Regression techniques can be used in hypnotherapy to find the root cause of a problem and this can be helpful to resolve a wide range of issues. Not all hypnotherapists favour or use regression techniques; many prefer to utilise solution-focussed therapy or cognitive behavioural therapy. Sometimes the hypnotherapist will want to regress to a specific incident, at other times the script can be used to let the subconscious lead the way to whatever needs to be dealt with. The castle has a big drawbridge that lifts up and down so people can come in and out of the castle. The drawbridge is dropping down very slowly and then it stops. Hypnotherapists also have varying views as to whether Past Life Regression should be used with children. Those who do use it with children believe it can be effective with children aged seven upwards.
