ABSTRACT

Bertie the beagle is like many young children: he gets overexcited, can be very loud and forgets about how he might make other people feel. So children who have behaviour problems will be able to relate to Bertie and the fact that he gets told off a lot. The script explains how Bertie learns to change his behaviour and what the benefits are to him and his family in the long run. The script tells the story of Bertie, who does benefit from changing his behaviour. The author know a beagle called Bertie, who used to be so naughty when he was a puppy; he is much better behaved nowadays. Now Bertie is a purebred beagle he came from a long line of special beagles and even has the paperwork which shows his family tree. The word 'beagle' in French means 'loudmouth' and Bertie certainly is very good at barking and howling.
