In this chapter, the author wonders what a city looks like to readers. Just let they wonderful imagination think of a city. What do think of first? People, animals or things? Buildings, houses, shops, churches, parks, cars, bicycles. Or do readers think of something else? The city is always busy – it never sleeps. It is full of life and very exciting things. There are lots of interesting things to see and things to do. The authors wonder what readers would like to do in this city readers are imagining now. Now this big city has lots of different parts to it and there is one very special part known as the island. Perhaps readers would like to go there now.
