ABSTRACT
The hypnotherapist can use the maze in more than one session with a child, whilst they are undertaking ongoing work, trying to make a decision or deciding which pathway to take. This script embeds the idea that it is alright to take time to make a decision; no-one should be forced or rushed to make a decision when they are unsure about something. It is script of optimism, that is, there is always a solution and a way out; it just might take some time to achieve this. Sometimes things can get a bit confusing and you can feel a bit lost maybe you feel like you do not know which way to go. It’s important to just take your time and let things happen naturally when the time is right you will know which direction to take. In the meantime, it helps to relax and not to worry about the future and making decisions. Just let things happen naturally.
