ABSTRACT
Website development is most essential task for the up growing industries. All organization are focusing on development of interactive and fascinating website. But they are unaware that for established a connection every time they are sending a http request through browsers, which will create and store the web log in the system. Users may knows that system stores a web logs, but they are unable to see the structure. Log may store statistical information of the web pages. In this paper we have emphasized on usage of web logs to give a detailed view of websites. Server logs can be used to monitor the detailed activities on websites and can be help to improve the functionality of site using web usage mining. Web log data can be used to analyze and redesign the web contents such as databases, fact sheets, references etc. We can discover the various patterns from web data using web usage mining.
