ABSTRACT
An accident has occurred for which an insurance claim has been made. Because of the technical and legal aspects of the claim, the claims adjusted has engaged the services of a professional engineer. The engineer visits the accident scene, photographs the important details, perhaps makes some small tests, and checks some references. He is now ready to put together his findings in a written report.
