ABSTRACT

In Chapter 2, we touched briefly on the law of remedies. Any discussion of remedies law must go hand-in-hand with procedural law. In that context, we noted that in Barbados, St Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago there are statutes on the books which have sought to modernise procedures through which an aggrieved person may enforce public law rights and remedies. The law of remedies cannot therefore stand in splendid isolation.
