ABSTRACT

This chapter deals with the Christian population in the emerging Palestinian polity, where it is a religious minority. The number of Christians in the Gaza Strip is negligible. For this reason I focus on the West Bank. Regarding Palestine as a nation state is problematic, yet the creation of a Palestinian National Authority (PNA) is a step in that direction.
