I Have all along, till now, spoken of the general Correspondence of the Devil with Mankind, under the Head of Diabolick Magick, as a meer Intimacy only; I have represented it as a Method which the Devil first took, to form his Interest and Acquaintance with Mankind, when he was drown’d out of his Kingdom in the old World by the Flood.
