ABSTRACT

EPA and OSHA guidelines are excellent reference tools for the exposure assessor, but they differ on one point. The EPA guidelines are just that and have to be integrated with regulations where appropriate. The OSHA guidelines are included in standards (or regulations) on specific substances on in broader standards, such as hazardous materials handling.
