ABSTRACT

Our first concern as exposure assessors is for the health and well-being of exposed humans. In the third and fourth chapters, we discussed some of the ramifications of exposure to humans. In the last chapter, we examined the impact of chemicals on the flora and fauna of the environment, the biota of biomes and eco-systems. In this chapter, we shall look at the impact of chemicals on the abiota of the environment, on natural, as well as anthropogenic, structures. We shall also examine the potential damage to human social and commercial intercourse.
