ABSTRACT
Through her international discussion group, from one of her newer net friends, Jane Q. Sirius has just been alerted to the existence of a Word 6 macro virus that could infect her Mac. All of her current professional life is on that computer, her two grants in preparation, her major review paper, as well as that hard-earned database, and she’d be devastated if it crashed irretrievably. Her contact has given her the Internet address of a special virus detector and eliminator developed specifically for this nasty bug by MicroSoft.
