ABSTRACT
Similar to Scombroidei, but premaxillae are not produced in form of a rostrum. Epiotics contiguous above supra-occipital. Bases of radials of dorsal and anal fins fused. Posttemporal very large, fused with supra-cleithrum. Pelvic bones fused. Vertebrae 23 (Berg, 1940: 323).
