ABSTRACT
This proceedings compilation celebrates the power of education, culture, and communication in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Quality Education (SDG 4). Through interdisciplinary dialogue, it explores how innovation, inclusion, and global citizenship learning shape today’s educational and social landscapes, bridging boundaries between language, culture, and human well-being.
This volume is organized around three major strands – Language, Culture & Communication; Curriculum & Instruction; and Gender, Health, Wellness & Well-being in Education. The papers delve into themes of multilingual identity, cultural hybridity, digital and media literacy, and creative pedagogy. Other works investigate teacher professional development, technology-enhanced instruction, and the use of AI and machine learning for improving educational quality and self-regulated learning. In alignment with SDG 4, many contributions emphasize equitable access, lifelong learning, and the cultivation of 21stcentury skills like critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity. Collectively, these studies illuminate how education and the humanities can empower individuals and communities toward resilience, empathy, and sustainable global progress.
It is designed for educators, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners in education, humanities, and social sciences. It offers evidence-based insights and practical reflections for those committed to promoting inclusive, high-quality learning, strengthening teacher capacity, and fostering cultural understanding in pursuit of sustainable and equitable futures.
