ABSTRACT
Dust and submicron particle collection efficiencies greater than 99%
can be attained by filtration of dirty gas through porous fabric filters.
The filter medium, such as in fossil fuel combustion plants, is con-
tained in a structure known as a baghouse. Baghouses are common in
many large industrial installations such as lead smelters.
