ABSTRACT

In order to examine the kind of stability and justice promoted in Singapore and more generally, the nature of PAP’s regime, we must consider how justice is played out among its citizens. If justice is lacking and reform is necessary, then perhaps Aristotle may be summoned to prescribe a transformation. If on the other hand, through acting like a king, Lee acquired the kingly sort of virtue, or if the citizens are indeed happy in their lot, then perhaps we may find that change is not necessary, nor even desired, by the PAP, the citizens, nor perhaps even Aristotle.
