ABSTRACT
In this chapter we concentrate on establishing the magnitude of risk. To do so, we will at some point need a risk metric or metrics. The choice of metrics is not necessarily value free, as we have already seen. Some people believe that risk cannot be measured at all. In this chapter we shall take risk as being measurable, at least in principle, however.
