The vast majority of NQTs feel under tremendous pressure in their first year of teaching. In a way this has increased with the advent of statutory induction, particularly the formal assessment aspect of it. The individualised induction programme, however, is the key to your successful progress, and sanity. You have release time and rights that previous cohorts of NQTs have not had. You need to make the most of them — you will never have the opportunity again.
