Critical realism and philosophy of education

Part I of the book set out to identify two traditions of critical realism; trace the intellectual lineage of the ‘theological’ variety (ThCR); identify the key tenets of ‘Bhaskarian’ CR (including its ‘dialectical turn’); and explain how a previously ‘discernable convergence’ between the two traditions became a significant intersection.
