ABSTRACT
Prestressed concrete bridge is rational structure. Prestress is an important factor from both aspects of serviceability and durability because tensile strength, one of the defects of concrete, is made up for with introducing prestress. Prestressed concrete bridge has a history for more than a half century, and soundness of bridges are different for bridges. Most of them are still in good conditions but some of them are needed treatment such as strengthening. These differences are mostly depended on environmental conditions and considerations at design and construction stages.
