ABSTRACT

Introduction This chapter takes a last look at the challenges facing you when embarking on an academic programme. In some ways it repeats and expands upon some ideas contained in the previous chapters, to serve as a quick reminder and reference.This chapter also considers some techniques to raise performance and confidence that you may find helpful. All in all, it offers more support for the three Rs - reflection, reassurance and relaxation.The chapter opens by considering the academically important area of reflection.
