Theory and policy lessons: Rethinking China’s ICT development experience

This book has been constructed around some aspects of popular debate over the role of the state in economic development. Its aim has been to provide some new evidence to extend the debate by including the case of China’s ICT industry. Before finally drawing some policy lessons, this part first summarizes the broader theoretical debate presented in Chapter 2.
