ABSTRACT
In recounting the stories of Simone, Sandra, Eisner, Robert and Gemma, we sought to describe mobile lives from the ‘inside out’, shifting from the terrain of ordinary, everyday mobilities to more extensive, global processes of mobility. We have shown that both of these orders – the everyday and the institutional – are highly structured and systematic. We have also shown, throughout the book, how mobile lives unfold on many different levels.
