ABSTRACT

This concluding chapter provides an overall summary of key findings and outlines the importance of these findings for our understanding of the behaviour involved in buying, selling and the policing of street sex markets. I also discuss the implications of the findings for theory, policy and practice. A brief research agenda for future lines of enquiry is provided and the chapter concludes by outlining what a law governing sex work should look like after consideration of appropriate interventions for men and women in the sex industry.
