ABSTRACT
Although Article 2 of the Convention does not actually use the term dangerous climate change, it is commonly used in the context of “dangerous anthropogenic interference” and refers to the “man-made” emissions forcing climate change beyond natural variation. The difficulty is that the UNFCCC does not actually define what constitutes “dangerous anthropogenic interference” – there are no clearly defined limits or thresholds that would mark a breach of any of the three principles.
