It is advisable for learners to take a numeracy/literacy diagnostic assessment which could be done in conjunction with course provider to ensure learners are getting any extra help needed to complete the exams. City and Guilds offers a range of aid information and communication technology (ICT) courses from beginners to intermediate. The European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) is the internationally recognised qualification which enables people to demonstrate their competence in computer skills. Microsoft Office Specialist certification, the premier Microsoft desktop certification, is a globally recognised standard for demonstrating desktop skills.
