ABSTRACT

The fact that a child is sitting in a classroom being taught by no means guarantees that they are learning! The learner knows this, but it often takes a long time before teachers and parents become aware. It is fundamentally important that when a learner is not making the progress that they should, provision and monitoring are put in place. It is essential to know that the provision is appropriate and effective and is adapted to need as time passes. All education plans must reflect this on-going change and make adjustment for need as required.
