ABSTRACT
This book has been written for aspiring student primary teachers – commonly referred to as trainee teachers, student teachers or ‘trainees’. It presents the fundamentals of teaching in such a way that you can move forward with greater confidence on three levels:
1 making well-informed choices about the sort of teacher you want to be 2 mastering the skills and strategies that you need to teach effectively 3 satisfying the demands of your training course.
