Imagine if you will, a golf ball sitting on a tee awaiting your drive towards the green. For a moment cast your eyes away from the lure of the fairway and look down at that ball you are about to send on its way. Sure, it’s white and spherical, and covered in dimples, but what other physical parameters can we ascribe to the projectile?
