ABSTRACT
This type of discretionary interlocutory injunction,1 which may be granted pre-or post-trial,2 is designed to prevent a defendant to an action from disposing of his assets in such a way as to frustrate any eventual judgment made against him.3 To ensure secrecy, the application is made ex parte by affidavit to a judge.4
