ABSTRACT
The previous chapters concentrated on the framework at the European level within which the process of Europeanisation occurs. It was seen there that this is largely done through the adoption of directives, and supplemented by relevant judgments of the European Court of Justice. The overview of the core acquis in the contract law field revealed that EU law permeates most areas of contract law, albeit only with regard to consumer contracts, or other particular types of contract.
