ABSTRACT
In the previous chapter we explored a number of issues and challenges associated with getting a network started. In this chapter we move on to consider issues of leadership and management, and in particular how leadership capacity can be developed within and across networks. This chapter sets out to answer the following questions:
• Why do we need ‘network leaders’ and what are their qualities? • What do successful network leaders do? • How do network leaders build leadership capacity within and across
networks? • What are the key challenges network leaders face?
